No more Sniffles!
A few years ago, we found ourselves with a 3 year old child suffering from a colds every 3-4 weeks. Like most parents, we wanted to find out if there was a magical potion out there to help him ward off the sniffles. Our pediatrician recommended to look into Elderberry and its many benefits.
Elderberry plant (Sambucus nigra) is a good source of protein, free and conjugated forms of amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids, fibre fractions, vitamins, antioxidants and minerals. Analysis of elderberry showed that it contains high biological activity components, primarily polyphenols, mostly anthocyanins, flavonols, phenolic acids and proanthocyanidins, as well as terpenes and lectins. In folk medicine, elderberry has been used in the treatment of many diseases and ailments. Elderberry has medicinal properties associated with the presence of polyphenols, which are compounds with potential antioxidant properties. They can greatly affect the course of disease processes by counteracting oxidative stress, exerting beneficial effects on blood pressure, glycaemia reduction, immune system stimulation, increase in the activity of antioxidant enzymes in the blood plasma, including also glutathione, and the reduction of uric acid levels.
We have come across many studies and research and many believe it can relieve colds, fight the flu, and boost the immune system. As the weeks and months went by Christopher started having less colds, better immune system and fewer trips to the doctor's office. We were so delighted with the improvements that my husband and I saw, so we decided to start using it too! While there have been times in which we have gotten sick, we have noticed that it has shorten the duration and intensity of the cold. It has been now 6 years and we continue to take Elderberry, Vitamin C and D3. We invite you to do your own research and experience the wonderful benefits of this magnificent antioxidant!
For that reason, we have created Elderberry gummies to share its immunity boosting properties.
Keeping your child healthy and feeling well is your top priority. You also want to feel confident in any immune-supportive supplements you are thinking of adding alongside your healthy diet.
As long as you choose a trusted product, elderberry can help promote a healthy immune system. It works amazingly if you pair it with Vitamin D3, Zinc and colloidal silver.
